US military contractor confirms staff injured in Saudi shooting

‘A US-based defense contractor has confirmed that the two Americans who were shot in Saudi Arabia this week were its employees.

“We can confirm that two Vinnell Arabia employees were involved in an incident on Friday, in which they were shot at by assailants in the al-Ahsa province of Saudi Arabia,” the company said in a statement.

The company also said that the two workers were “injured but are in stable condition at a local hospital.”‘
