Royal Mail ‘under review’ by Ofcom for holding UK monopoly

‘Royal Mail is undergoing a “fundamental review” by Ofcom following the withdrawal of rival postal service Whistl from the market.

The watchdog is to rethink the pricing freedoms it awarded the 499-year-old postal service three years ago, which were created to help Royal Mail compete in a more challenging environment.’
