Turkish police detain three and seize radioactive substance

‘Turkish authorities have detained two Georgian citizens who tried to enter the country carrying radioactive material, a report says.

A 43-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, identified only as N. K. and I. A. respectively, were arrested with 1.2 kilograms of cesium at a border gateway in northeastern Turkey on Friday, the official Anadolu Agency reported.’
