Rotherham child abuse: Shaun Wright will not face investigation over scandal confirms police watchdog

‘Former police boss Shaun Wright will not face investigation over his knowledge of the Rotherham child sexual exploitation scandal.

Mr Wright resigned as a South Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner after a shocking report revealed 1,400 children had been abused.

The report said girls as young as 11 were raped and many trafficked to other town and cities in the north.’
