‘Tony Blair and his inner circle will escape full blame in the Chilcot report over Britain’s controversial invasion of Iraq, it has been reported.

The long-awaited public inquiry, which has been plagued by a series of delays, will reportedly share the responsibility of the 2003 invasion beyond the former Prime Minister and his closest advisors.

While Mr Blair will bare the brunt of the inquiry’s criticism, the report will also target a wider circle of ministers and officials than had previously been expected, according to The Guardian.’
