Israeli tanks enter Gaza Strip despite truce

‘Israeli tanks have violated a 2014 truce agreement with the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, carrying out a limited incursion into the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Israeli military vehicles crossed over Gaza’s southeastern border Tuesday and advanced about 150 meters into the border town of Qarara, local residents said.

According to the Palestinian Information Center, eyewitnesses saw five vehicles with the Israeli insignia entering Qarar, which is located nearly four kilometers (about 2.5 miles) northeast of the city of Khan Yunis.’
