‘The founder of Kids Company has claimed she has been targeted because she knows about high-level sex abuse.
The children’s charity closed its doors yesterday after running out of money amid claims of financial mismanagement and a row over funding.
Camila Batmanghelidjh, who founded the organisation 19 years ago, claimed today there has been a campaign against those attempting to expose child sex abuse by powerful people.
She added: ‘I believe much of these difficulties are about suppressing the people who are speaking up about the child protection problem in this country.’
