Ireland 2015 – Frail pensioner left begging on street for heating bills money

‘Fundraisers have been started online to help the woman, thought to be in her late 80s, who was snapped in Dublin.

She is not homeless but has resorted to sitting in the cold to collect cash, and holds a sign reading: “A little help please.”

A picture of her was posted on Facebook by a passer-by, Karen Smith, who stopped to ask the old lady how she was rather than walk past as many had done.’
