Obama Exposes Himself at the UN

President Obama today spewed his war-mongering filth over the assembled world representatives at the UN General Assembly. Just minutes later, Vladimir Putin’s presentation brought home the stark reality that Obama is finished.

While hypocritically citing about the “international rule of law” and the evil of “might makes right,” Obama directly targeted Putin and Syria’s Bashar al-Assad as the root of all evil in the world today, even claiming that Assad is the cause of the ISIS horror in Iraq and Syria. “Let’s remember how this started,” he fantasized. “Assad reacted to peaceful protests by escalating repression and killing that, in turn, created the environment for the current strife. And so Assad and his allies cannot simply pacify the broad majority of a population who have been brutalized by chemical weapons and indiscriminate bombing.”

He said that “some major powers assert themselves in ways that contravene international law,” which must have made the audience gag; and then complained that these same powers argue that in order to defeat terrorism, “we should support tyrants like Bashar al-Assad, who drops barrel bombs to massacre innocent children, because the alternative is surely worse.”

He then puffed out his chest: “I lead the strongest military that the world has ever known, and I will never hesitate to protect my country or our allies, unilaterally and by force where necessary.” (Putin later evoked the destruction of Libya and Iraq, which certainly threatened no one, and Obama’s unilateral disregard for the UN Charter and international law.)

Obama got more direct in discussing Ukraine: “Consider Russia’s annexation of Crimea and further aggression in eastern Ukraine…. We cannot stand by when the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a nation is flagrantly violated.”(!)

Obviously feeling the heat, Obama defensively whined: “It is not a conspiracy of U.S.-backed NGOs that expose corruption and raise the expectations of people around the globe; its technology, social media, and the irreducible desire of people everywhere to make their own choices about how they are governed.”

Russia, he said hysterically, had started a new cold war, and is now collapsing.

Obama returned to the Syria situation repeatedly, but never mentioned the Russian flanking move, intervening militarily and creating a true international coalition to crush ISIS, which is the cause of Obama’s dissembling in front of the world body.
