Obama: US and Saudi Arabia discuss end to horrific situation in Syria

‘President Barack Obama has said that he would discuss to end the ongoing crisis in Syria in a meeting with Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz.

“We share concerns about the crisis in Syria and will have the opportunity to discuss how we can run a political transition process within Syria and how we can finally end the horrific situation there,” Obama said.

“We share a concern about Yemen and the need to restore a functioning government that is inclusive and can relieve the humanitarian situation there,” he added.

The two leaders met in the Oval Office of the White House on Friday.’
