Israeli warplanes target area in southern Gaza Strip

‘Israeli fighter jets have carried out an aerial attack against the Gaza Strip in yet another act of aggression against the blockaded coastal territory.

Palestinian sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the airstrike struck a site belonging to Ezzedine Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, in the eastern Zeitoun neighborhood of the Gaza City in the early hours of Monday, Arabic-language Safa news agency reported.

There were no immediate reports about possible casualties from the Israeli attack.’
