Thomas Massie and Walter Jones: No funding for ex-Speaker’s Office Space

Congressmen Walter Jones (NC-03) and Thomas Massie (KY-04) have introduced legislation (HR 4195) that stops the use of taxpayer money to fund the private offices of former House speakers.  There is no reason for taxpayers to subsidize the office expenses of former speakers, most of whom enjoy quite lucrative careers as lobbyists, authors, and/or media personalities.

Campaign for Liberty members who oppose wasting taxpayer money on former Speakers of the House should call their representatives and ask them to cosponsor HR 4195.
