1. CADDYSHACK GOT MADE BECAUSE OF ANIMAL HOUSE.

Caddyshack director and co-writer Harold Ramis were also a co-writer of the 1978 National Lampoon comedy classic Animal House, along with eventual Caddyshack co-writer and producer Douglas Kenney.
