Pro EU Tony Blair wants to be Britain’s Brexit negotiator

Tony Blair has issued a thinly-veiled plea to become Britain’s mediator in the upcoming EU negotiations.
The former Prime Minister declared it would not be right for a Eurosceptic “Brexit Minister” to play a part in the talks to determine the terms of Britain’s EU exit.
Blair called for “serious statesmanship” in what will be a highly contentious negotiation process.
