Israel military fires shells on Gaza Strip, wounding three people

‘The Israeli military has fired a volley of shells on the northern Gaza Strip, wounding at least three people, in yet another act of aggression against the besieged Palestinian enclave.
Some of the shells hit a post of Ezzedeen al-Qassam Brigades, which is the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, in Beit Lahia during the early hours of Sunday, the Jerusalem Post reported, citing Palestinian security sources.
The Israeli military claimed that the overnight assault was in retaliation for an alleged gunfire by Hamas aimed at its forces along the border between the Palestinian enclave and Israel.’
