Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S. Will Accept Award from Hate Group Behind Trump’s Muslim Ban

‘Ron Dermer, a close associate of Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli Ambassador to the US, plans to accept an award from the extremist organization that produced the shoddy research behind Donald Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims.
The Center for Security Policy (CSP) plans to grant Dermer the “Freedom Flame” award at a ceremony in December, alongside Morton Klein, the president of the far-right Zionist Organization of America. CSP is a pro-Israel, neoconservative think tank known for promoting Islamophobic conspiracy theories and pressing for military escalation towards Iran.’
