Lidl knew about paint thinner in gravy two weeks before the recall

Lidl was informed of the issues with it’s paint thinner in it’s gravy products some 2 weeks prior to the recall, prompting anger amongst shoppers.
The supermarket is recalling two batches of Kania GravyGranules after they were found to contain xylene, which occurs naturally in petroleum and crude oil, said the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
