Damascus airport rocked after ‘Israel air strike’ on arms depot

‘A massive explosion struck near Damascus International Airport early on Thursday setting off large fires, in what was thought to be an Israeli air strike on an arms depot used by Hizbollah.
The blast was outside the airport itself on a hub operated by the Lebanese Shia group where weapons from Iran are regularly sent by commercial and military cargo planes.
Israeli warplanes have hit the airport and other bases around the capital in the past, targeting what it said were weapons stockpiles of its Lebanese foe Hizbollah, which is allied with the Syrian government.’
