Why Is the Media Promoting the Fact the Pope Won’t Be Using the Armored ‘Popemobile’ in Egypt?
‘The so-called “popemobile” is the nickname for the specially designed armored car used by the Pope during all of his outdoor public appearances. The first popemobile premiered in New York City in 1965, likely as a response to JFK’s assassination.
You get the idea… it’s kind of like a motorized bulletproof pope snowglobe. The whole purpose of the thing is to protect the pope from potential assassination attempts or attacks.
So why would
A) the pope refuse to use the popemobile during his upcoming public appearance in Egypt (of all countries) where he will speak about the plight of Christians in a place where many violent terror attacks against churches and Christians have recently taken place…
And—
B) Why is the mainstream media including Reuters so heavily pushing the fact that the pope is refusing to use the popemobile during his upcoming appearance in Egypt but instead will be appearing in a low security golf buggy?’
