While you might think that the £193 ($250) ring would be an easy target for thieves, the device only works when the user’s identity is verified with a series of gestures.
The Token Ring is a sterling silver ring that is integrated with MasterCard, Microsoft, Visa and FitPay, allowing users to make payments with the swipe of a finger.
The ring contains a fingerprint sensor and an optical proximity sensor to make sure that only the owner can use it.
Through an app, users can pair their ring and their biometric information with other devices, including credit cards and house keys.’
