This Week in Congress Update

Yesterday, the House passed H.R. 8 the Nancy PelosiPete King gun ban bill. The bill passed by a vote of 250-189.

Eight Republicans voted for the bill:

Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-25)
Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01)
Will Hurd (TX-23)
Peter King (NY-03)
Brian Mast (FL-18)
Chris Smith (NJ-04)
Fred Upton (MI-06)

Only two Democrats voted against the Bill Jared Golden (ME-02) and Collin Peterson (MN-07).

Yesterday, the House passed S. 47, the lands bill by a vote of 363-62. All 62 nays were Republicans. You can see that vote here.

Here is the vote on H.J.Res 46, the resolution of disapproval of President Trump’s declaration of national emergency at the border.

Thirteen Republicans joined every Democrat in voting for the resolution.
