With the two-day top-level meeting of a global development initiative — already investing in 65 nations, and 20 times as big as the Marshall Plan — taking place this weekend in Beijing, the issue of what to do about the stagnating U.S. and European economies will never be so clear again. Helga Zepp-LaRouche has said that if Donald Trump does go to Beijing and ally the United States economically to the Belt and Road Initiative, he could be seen by history as America’s greatest president. On that path lies not only a great revival of productivity and productive employment for Americans, but the potential resolution of the grave threat of war in Asia, and even — through cooperation with Russia — in the Middle East.

And with the United States participating, the Belt and Road Initiative itself will be far more powerful an economic and technological driver for the more than 100 nations represented in Beijing this weekend.

A major Asian daily editorialized today, “It’s not too late for President Trump to decide to go to Beijing.” For that matter, it’s not too late for newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron to go. The European Union’s and London’s financial elite may be trying to bottle up and even destroy China’s Belt and Road before it develops a new economic infrastructure in Europe, but the growth prospects of all the European nations depend on it.

Unless the right decision is made now, it will soon be too late for the trans-Atlantic economies. They can not survive another, worse-than-2008 financial crash, and that is what is threatening them right now. Germany’s leading financial daily Handelsblatt has added its “loud warning signal…. A surge in corporate loans, especially in the United States, could unleash a new global financial crisis. The contours of a giant bubble are becoming more and more apparent in the market for corporate bonds. It could burst … due to rapidly rising interest rates and a declining economy.”

An immediate turn is needed, to what are called the “four laws to save the nation” proposed by Lyndon LaRouche since 2014. Restore the Glass-Steagall Act to break up the Wall Street banks before they trigger a cataclysm; then create national credit institutions to build modern infrastructure, fund space sciences and fission and fusion technologies.

The whole effort against trans-Atlantic economic collapse can only succeed on that path of collaboration with China, India, and Russia above all.

The City of London and Britain are trying to destroy the possibility, through London and Brussels attacks on the Belt and Road, and through war. There are reports from London that Prime Minister May will ask her new parliament to let her bomb Syria’s government forces, as her ministers keep publicly demanding. That implies another manufactured “chemical bombing” incident, and would only be done by the UK to draw President Trump back into war. BBC is, indeed, starting broadcasts claiming that Syria’s president is going to conduct more “chemical bombings.”

The British incitement to confrontation comes just as Russian Foreign Minister and U.S. Secretary of State are holding discussions in Washington this week, with a prospect of ending Syria’s civil war and terrorism. London’s intervention must be defeated — and President Trump must go to Beijing.

Yesterday, exactly ten days before the opening of the Belt and Road Initiative world summit in Beijing, far-reaching changes for the better in the entire human condition have become immediate possibilities. The new vision for mankind which has been the life’s work of Lyndon LaRouche and Helga Zepp-LaRouche can be realized, if their ideas are effectively promoted over the coming days and weeks.

How many recognized the truth of the May 2 editorial of China’s official Global Times? It had said that anxiety about the Belt and Road Initiative “lays bare the stereotypical U.S. zero-sum mind-set…. [but] public opinion in the U.S. is subtly changing from being against it, to attaching more importance to studying it.”

Now the truth of this observation has been underlined in a surprising way, by U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s lengthy impromptu address to the entire State Department yesterday. Anglophile news sources have quoted one part of Tillerson’s remarks in order to villify them: his opening statements where he clearly disavowed the murderous “color revolution” and regime-change policies of the Bush and Obama administrations. Here Tillerson had said that America’s “values” are not necessarily the same as its foreign policies—meaning, as he explained, that to attempt to force American “values” on other nations would often be counterproductive.

But left unreported was Tillerson’s detailed and explicit description of the new administration’s new agreements for dialog with China. He said that the new dialog would be one with Chinese officials who report directly to President Xi Jinping—and thus, implicitly, that the Americans would be officials who report directly to President Donald Trump. The intention here on both sides, is that concrete agreements will be reached, rather than merely having a talk-shop like the previous “dialog.”

But what is the overall purpose of the dialog? Tillerson emphasized and re-emphasized that its purpose will be to define the U.S.-China relationship “over the next half-century!”

Wasn’t it Lyndon LaRouche who wrote the book called, “Earth’s Next Fifty Years”?

One implication is that it is still possible for President Trump to join that May 14-15 Belt and Road conference, and we should fight to make that happen.

Meanwhile—across the globe in the Kazakh capital of Astana—Russian, Iranian, and Turkish representatives signed an agreement today, to create demilitarized “safe zones,” or “de-escalation zones” in Syria, with the support of the Syrian government. The U.S., although not a party to the agreement or a direct participant in the negotiations, was represented in Astana by Acting Assistant Secretary of State Stuart Jones. President Putin said that President Trump had supported such safe zones in their telephone conversation of May 2—indeed, they had been a part of Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign, although they were maliciously mischaracterized as a casus belli for Russia. The Russian government says that the establishment of these zones will finally begin to separate the terrorists from the armed Syrian opposition—something that John Kerry had promised to do for a year, but which Barack Obama would never permit.

At the same time, some U.S. Congressmen have failed to keep up with world developments, such that no Glass-Steagall amendment was filed before the House Financial Services Committee voted up a financial regulation bill today along party lines. We will mobilize tougher and harder on this, while no longer specifically targeting that committee.

It is the big picture that each of us must represent at all times: the future of humanity over the next fifty to one-hundred fifty years.

The British plan was certainly not for Trump to have talked by phone with Russian President Putin three times as of now, with a meeting between them likely to occur at the G20 summit on July 7; it was not for Trump to have met with Xi Jinping once and spoken with him numerous times; and it was not for Trump to have personally placed the issue of Glass-Steagall on the front burner for deliberation — although which version of “Glass-Steagall”, FDR’s real one or some ersatz “ring-fencing” variant, is still being fiercely fought out, with American citizens weighing in led by a LaRouchePAC mobilization.

Add to that the fact that the upcoming May 14-15 Belt and Road Initiative summit is increasingly dominating the global economic agenda, and that Lyndon and Helga LaRouche are personally at the center of that discussion, with Russia and China as principal interlocutors (as seen most clearly in the recent N.Y. Schiller Institute conference), and you can see why the British Empire is not the least bit amused.

In fact, they are panicked, and they are still trying to cook up a drive to impeach Trump and carry out a color revolution in the U.S.

Helga Zepp-LaRouche today stressed that we are now in a 10-day countdown to the Beijing Belt and Road summit, and we must double down on insisting that the United States must get involved in that process. The U.S. has an $8 trillion infrastructure deficit, at the very least, and it needs Chinese expertise and investment to help rebuild the country’s infrastructure at the highest technological level. Furthermore, she emphasized, the U.S. and China should engage in joint ventures, especially in the Middle East and Africa, to bring peace and development to those regions. Zepp-LaRouche stated: There is plenty to do!

It is certain that Russia and China will respond favorably to such an American policy. As the official Global Times of China noted with accuity in a May 2 editorial: Anxiety about the Belt and Road Initiative “lays bare the stereotypical U.S. zero-sum mind-set….

“[but] public opinion in the U.S. is subtly changing from being against it, to attaching more importance to studying it….

“[Cooperation would] elevate their mutual trust to the next level … and create a new platform for Sino-U.S. collaboration….

“Beijing has already extended the invitation, and how the U.S. will respond is worth observing.”

It is increasingly clear that President Donald Trump is taking steps, together with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, to end the crisis points in Eurasia which had brought the world to the brink of world war under President Obama, and which the British and their assets have been desperately trying to use again today to break up Trump’s cooperation with Russia and China.

As one South Korean analyst said last week, Trump has a policy on North Korea which is very close to that of the leading candidates for President in South Korea in the election to be held there on May 9 — carry a bigger stick, but offer a bigger carrot.

While the Trump Administration has activated the THAAD missile system in South Korea, and is carrying out exercises in the region with an aircraft carrier, B-1 bombers, and nuclear subs, he is at the same time declaring for all to hear that he is working closely with President Xi, and that he wants to assure North Korea that the US is not threatening “regime-change” against the Kim Jong-un government. His statement on Monday that he would be willing to meet face to face with Kim Jong-un under the appropriate circumstances, has been met with hysteria in the western press, while their response to Trump’s call to Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, inviting him to visit the White House, sent the New York Times and others into conniptions.

But what do these steps represent? The Korea crisis was created by the Bush and Obama administrations, sabotaging every agreement reached with the North, and leading to Obama’s insane “strategic patience” — a refusal to talk to the North unless they did exactly as told, while building up a massive military force and increasing sanctions. The target was China, not North Korea. Bush and Obama were delighted to have a nuclear armed North Korea, providing an excuse to build up a massive military ring around China and Russia.

Now, Trump is working with China. There is no more reason to drive North Korea into hostile reactions with nuclear armaments. As Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said last week, we must convince Pyongyang that we do not intend regime-change, but only a peaceful denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

So also with the Philippines. The unnecessary provocation of China by the Philippines former government, by taking the issue of sovereignty over the South China Sea islands to a biased western court, without Chinese participation, justified the Obama deployment of powerful military forces into the region. With Duterte’s election, that crisis ended, and the Philippines is now working closely with China, and also with the US. Both the Philippines and the US are now under sane leadership, rejecting the insanity of world war between nuclear powers.

Yesterday, Trump had a long phone discussion with President Putin, agreeing to work closely together on forging a peaceful, political solution to the hotspots in North Korea and Syria. This horrifies the British, who thought they had successfully poisoned Trump’s intention to befriend Putin through their lies about Assad using chemical weapons, which had induced Trump to bomb a Syrian airbase.

Of course, the New York Times, the voice of the British Empire in the US, describes Xi Jinping and Putin as dictators, and claims that Trump is a tyrant for wanting to be friends with them, or with other “authoritarian dictators” such as Duterte, Egypt’s el-Sisi, or others who defy the British imperial division of the world into enemy camps, and who are only interested in fighting terrorism, not other nation states. Indeed, these are the countries of the New Silk Road, who wish to work together as friends in building a world worthy of the dignity of Mankind.

As of yet, Trump has not announced whether or not he will attend the international Belt And Road Forum, scheduled for Beijing on May 14-15, in which over leaders from 100 nations will meet to discuss a future for mankind based on mutual development, the alleviation of dire poverty (as China has itself nearly achieved), and a world free of war and terrorism. As Helga Zepp-LaRouche said on April 13, if Trump proceeds to bring the US into the New Silk Road, he will be remembered as one of the greatest American presidents. The very concept of Empire, of a world composed of Darwinian people and nations functioning like animals, fighting for advantage over the other, can be deposited into the historical garbage can once and for all. Mankind can then go forward to its true destiny, in building a just and prosperous world, moving mankind into space, and creating a scientific and cultural Renaissance among all peoples.

President Donald Trump’s statement yesterday, of willingness to negotiate peace directly with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un — which will give nervous breakdowns to the lying major media of London, New York and Washington — is the beginning of a potential break by the President out of a British war trap. “Under the right circumstances,” he said, and those circumstances may be precisely the multilateral direct negotiations being worked on, hard, by Presidents Xi and Putin.

And as China and Russia continue to develop the One Belt, One Road initiative — the nations the British elite has been trying to drive Trump to war with — Brit officials Boris Johnson and Michael Fallon repeatedly announced that they knew for sure, that Trump was about to go to war on North Korea, as they had pushed him into the war trap, briefly, in Syria.

It is urgent that every Trump supporter understand this, and push him further to escape from the Brits’ deadly “geopolitics.”

His destination should be Beijing May 14-15, with 30 other heads of state and 101 national delegations in the Belt and Road Forum. That is collaboration with China on economic development worldwide, including a new economic infrastructure in the United States.

The President stunned Wall Street in the same Oval Office interview, by again saying he wanted to break up the Wall Street banks with a “21st-Century Glass-Steagall.” No doubt they will offer Barack Obama even more — half a million per speech! — to attack Trump. From the February 2009 G20 meeting in London on, Obama followed the British policy lead: Bail out all big banks, and pass anything BUT Glass-Steagall. It would end London’s role as the world’s imperial financial center.

More important, it would push the Wall Street banks’ speculative derivatives and “casino” operations out of taxpayer support and Federal insurance, and leave them to fail if they will. With an immense, $14 trillion corporate debt bubble starting to default and threatening to fail now, that is the crucial first step to return to economic recovery. As EIR Editor-in-Chief Lyndon LaRouche said today of Trump’s interview, “This financial system has been completely degenerate, a fraud, since well before the crash, which I forecast in early 2007. You simply have to do away with it.”

The President is taking steps to escape the deadly British trap of geopolitics and war, from which — since FDR — only JFK and Ronald Reagan have broken, at least in part. One was assassinated, the other nearly so. It is a matter of life and death for the nation, that President Trump’s supporters understand what he’s fighting, and what his next step must be.

Many of our contacts, and—truth be told—our members, are experiencing “cynicism” about President Trump, and about us, supposedly in the wake of his April 6 rocket attack against Syria. But Lyndon LaRouche was absolutely right about that—the British Empire had fooled President Trump as part of a coup-attempt against him. If you concede an inch on that—if you abandon the truth to concede an inch to the lying British—then you have abandoned your position on our side, to cross over to the other side, the side of our enemies, the British Empire.

This is critically important just precisely at this moment, because our role is absolutely crucial now. Without our maximum intellectual-moral effort right now, President Trump will be unable to fulfill his promises and will be overthrown, as the world plunges into nuclear war. The needed path forward is that marked out by Lyndon LaRouche’s “Four New Laws” of June 2014, including the U.S. joining the New Silk Road led by China’s President Xi Jinping, whom President Trump calls “a man that I’ve gotten to like and respect.”

As one of our organizers put it earlier today in characterizing her polemic to some of the 10,000 of the President’s supporters who came out to greet him in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, last night: “President Trump can’t succeed if you don’t understand what he’s up against.” If not for us, they would only have the know-it-alls of the radio talk shows. And how many of those 10,000 “deplorables” would already have taken their own lives if Hillary Clinton had won the election on Nov. 8 instead of Donald Trump? And taken their own lives with her encouragement?

Do we really need any more advice from the British Empire?

As you read this, the British are moving to exploit a loophole in European peacekeeping agreements, to try again to lure President Trump into making a dangerous mistake — this one likely fatal — like his missile attack against Syria on April 6, which was based on forged British evidence of a Syrian government chemical-warfare attack.

Remember that the Obama Administration sponsored actual Nazis to take over Ukraine in early 2014. These Nazis would already have plunged Europe and the world into war long ago, but for the four-power “Normandy” talks between the top leaders of France, Germany, Russia, and Ukraine, which have kept the conflict from spiraling out of control so far — despite all the weaknesses of the French and Germans.

The last telephone conference of the Normandy Four was on April 18, just two days ago. But now, the French Presidential election will create a delay of at least a month — the next French President is expected to be inaugurated about ten days after the second-round election scheduled for May 7. The British have rushed into this gap, in an obvious extension of their attack against the United States — which must be crushed on that basis. They brought Ukraine’s President Poroshenko to Britain on April 18 for two days of closed-door talks and highly-provocative public speeches — apparently preparing for another sudden, false-flag attack, or something like it. Another dirty trick is in the offing! Last night, Bloomberg News sent out a fraudulent story titled, “Putin Quietly Detaches Ukraine’s Rebel Zones as U.S. Waffles,” using faked quotes from Russian officials.

Lyndon LaRouche has pointed to the role of German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen as a crucial surrogate for the British system, who is launching actual military operations to support that British system and its forced march into war with Russia. He said that Americans must get on her case, expose her and get rid of her.

On the British lies about Syrian chemical warfare which fooled and entrapped President Trump two weeks ago, the latest installment of MIT Professor Ted Postol’s expose, proves beyond question that the sarin-gas attack alleged in the “White House Report of April 11” did not happen. He also gives a clue — the unique, findable location of groups of victims on the ground — which can readily be used to unravel the whole made-up charade and prove exactly how it was done!

Americans must act jointly and closely with allies in Europe and across the world to expose and denounce the British traps, and shut them down for good!
