Warts are benign skin growths that appear when a virus infects the top layer of the skin. They are caused when the human papillomavirus (HPV) infects the skin. Anyone can get warts and can occur anywhere on the body. The people most vulnerable to warts include the very young, the very old and those with weakened immune systems. Doctors often use medications to treat them, and occasionally coat them in dry ice. This can be extremely painful, and warts can grow back even after treatment. Before having such a procedure performed, try the following natural remedies: Bananas It’s easier for … Continue reading

One North Carolina woman has finally ‘achieved her dream of being blind’ by having a psychologist pour drain cleaner on her eyes. Jewel Shuping says she always wanted to be blind, even when she was a child. The woman is said to “suffer from Body Integrity Identity Disorder (BIID),” a ‘condition’ that causes healthy people to believe they are meant to be disabled. This group of people may also be referred to as transabled. Shuping’s desire to be disabled led her to find a psychologist who was willing to help her become blind. Shuping had the psychologist pour drain cleaner … Continue reading

I was at the park with my daughter the other day and we started counting the people who were walking past while looking at their phones. The numbers skewed high because it was hipster Brooklyn and on a relatively empty street where pedestrians didn’t have to worry about collisions, but my God what a sight. Eight out of ten people were doing it. This includes a group of guys where several different members of the group were not engaged in the group’s conversation and were instead checking their phones while walking. I hate these people and whenever I’m pushing a … Continue reading

A Statement From Jerry Reynolds, The Car Pro, on what to do if you own a VW Diesel: The story broke late Friday that German automaker Volkswagen faked the results of diesel emissions tests in the U.S. and may have some VW owners wondering what they should do.  I did not have time to verify the information in time for the Car Pro Radio Show last Saturday. The automaker is suffering a backlash from the scandal—losing around $25 billion in market value since the news was announced— the implications for VW owners is still not known. VW is the largest car company … Continue reading

Many shooters get their feet wet in competitive shooting by competing in club-level bullseye shooting matches. Most of these are NRA Bullseye matches and require a shooter use a .22 LR pistol or revolver capable of holding at least five rounds either with or absent an unmagnified optical sight. With a three-part course of fire consisting of a slow fire, timed fire and rapid fire string, speed comes second to precision. The one area that snags up many new shooters is what equipment to run. For optic sights anything that will hold zero and features a dot smaller than two minutes of angle … Continue reading

Contrary to what it might look like, the great passion of my life is neither politics nor the media. My abiding love affair, one that began almost forty years ago and burns just as bright today, is with the movies. Another passion of mine is the written biography. It’s been decades since I’ve read fiction.  Even history isn’t as fascinating as the story of an individual’s life. I’m convinced that in the right hands, a biography of one of my next door neighbors would be more fascinating than anything a Stephen King or Scott Turow could conjure. The human condition … Continue reading

From Old Granny to Uncle Jumbo, His Accidency to Grandfather’s Hat, here are a few presidential nicknames, and how the commanders in chief came by them. 1. GEORGE WASHINGTON: AMERICAN FABIUS Our first commander in chief earned this nickname based on the strategy he used to fight the British in the Revolutionary War, named for a Roman dictator who avoided large battles to engage in small ones. (But Washington might not have even known about that general and his strategy until a year after he began using it!) Another great nickname: Sword of the Revolution. 2. JOHN ADAMS: OLD SINK … Continue reading

Wimps might have the last laugh on gym-obsessed hunks – gram-for-gram, bodybuilders’ muscles are weaker than those of people who never touch weights, research has shown. Scientists found that bodybuilders had extraordinarily large muscle fibres capable of generating forces far greater than normal for an average human. Yet tests showed that a gram of their muscle was less powerful than the same amount of tissue from someone who did not weight train. Lead scientist Professor Hans Degens, from Manchester Metropolitan University, said: ”Most of us are impressed by the enormous muscle bulk of bodybuilders and think that these people must … Continue reading

Brewers from Maine have celebrated a successful year at a beer festival in the US. The state picked up three medals after its local breweries entered 14 beers at the annual Great American Beer Festival (GABF). At 21 per cent, it had the highest ratio of medals to entries out of all the states. Rhode Island came second after entering 10 beers and winning one medal. Around 60,000 people gathered at the festival in Boulder, Colorado, which lasted until 26 September. Judges handed out 275 medals at the event, which organiser Brewers Association said was the largest beer competition in the world. This year, there were around 6,650 entries from more than … Continue reading

It can be hard to control your food portion sizes. How could you just say ‘no’ to a second helping of your favorite food? Portion control doesn’t mean going hungry, it just means learning to eat enough to just be satisfied and fueled up for the rest of your day. The differing recommendations as to how much people should eat, and the massive portions restaurants dole out to customers can make trying to eat right and just enough feel like a virtual minefield. The key to finding the right balance for you really is seeing what works for your own body … Continue reading

Ratzinger non poté “né vendere né comprare” Ratzinger he could “neither sell nor buy” Maurizio Blondet . Roughly translated by Google: “Few know what SWIFT (the acronym stands for Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) is: in theory, is a global “clearing house”, uniting 10,500 banks in 215 countries. In fact, is the most occult and sole center of American-globalist financial power, a bastion of blackmail on which the hegemony of the dollar, the most powerful means of political and economic espionage (to the detriment especially for us Europeans) and the means by which the most feared global finance breaks … Continue reading

In August, Peter Schiff was a guest speaker at The Jackson Hole Summit, a gathering of free-market activists warning of the dangers of overreaching central banks and irresponsible monetary policies. The Summit coincided with the official central bank conference held every year in Wyoming. Peter’s speech was titled “Monetary Roach Motel: There Is No Exit from the Fed’s Stimulus”, and he reprised his consistent message of how the Federal Reserve created the economic problems it is pretending to solve. Peter also spent some time exposing Janet Yellen’s terrible track record as an economic forecaster. Highlights from the speech: “I’ve been … Continue reading

(ANTIMEDIA) Los Angeles, CA — The United States government deliberately hid “the worst nuclear disaster in U.S. history,” according to experts and an in-depth investigation by NBC4 Southern California. Whistleblowers have also come forward to expose the little-known catastrophe, which occurred north of Los Angeles in 1959 and leaked over 300 times the allowable amount of radiation into surrounding neighborhoods. That contamination is now linked to up to a 60% increase in cancer in the area, but the government still refuses to acknowledge its colossal mistake. The ongoing tragedy was driven by America’s darkest demons, from dogmatic militarism to aggressive corporatism, and … Continue reading
