Years of willful deception, the sands of time, and simple neglect all tend to cloud our perception of the reality of history. This is especially true for politically radioactive topics like 9/11. With the debate over 9/11 heating up as the 15th anniversary of that fateful day draws near, it’s a good time to get back up to speed. WhoWhatWhy believes there are essential pillars of the 9/11 debate that must be acknowledged by all parties before any healthy discussion of that paradigm-changing topic can take place. What follows is a refresher list of “known knowns” — select, broad aspects … Continue reading

I’ve received a few emails from folks wondering what it would take for people to figure out that the United States government is a police state. And, also, what it would take for people to look beyond it towards a different system. However, there are some things we must consider carefully here. For example, if we were to say that we wished to create a new country, are we not then making the very same mistake? Was this not how the United States government came into existence, after all? Before anything can be done, we must examine where people are … Continue reading

This is atrociously long, criminally even, by internet standards but I post it anyway because I get occasional requests.  Few will read it, which is understandable.  Apologies. The Devil made me do it. Regular readers, if there is one, will have seen most of it before since in large part it is a gluing together of several columns. “A scientist is part of what the Polish philosopher of science Ludwik Fleck called a “thought collective”: a group of people exchanging ideas in a mutually comprehensible idiom. The group, suggested Fleck, inevitably develops a mind of its own, as the individuals … Continue reading

Mark Twain famously said that there were three kinds of lies — “lies, damned lies, and statistics.” Since this is an election year, we can expect to hear plenty of all three kinds.  Even if the statistics themselves are absolutely accurate, the words that describe what they are measuring can be grossly misleading. Household income statistics are an obvious example. When we hear about how much more income the top 20 percent of households make, compared to the bottom 20 percent of households, one key fact is usually left out. There are millions more people in the top 20 percent … Continue reading

Flood damaged vehicles in Louisiana are going to be an even bigger problem than expected. The National Insurance Crime Bureau now estimates as many as 100,000 cars and trucks were soaked in last month’s historic flooding. That’s a much higher number than first estimated. And keep in mind, the count only includes insured vehicles, not ones that aren’t insured because they are older. Consumer Protection Following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Louisiana rolled out measures to protect consumers from purchasing flood-damaged vehicles, the NICB added in its press release. Once insurers determine a vehicle is damaged, it’s towed to an auction and a new title is issued noting its … Continue reading

Of all the phenomena the 2016 election year has demonstrated, none is greater than the proof that this nation is deeply and probably irretrievably split into two political camps with very, very little in common.  It is more than blue states and red states, it goes deeper: it is the truth, jobs, security, and intelligence on one side and lies, coddling rich, porous borders, and stupidity on the other.  And vice versa. Perhaps the greatest evidence of this rift at this moment is to be found in Texas.   A Public Policy Polling survey on August 16 found that 61 percent … Continue reading

The War on Cash continues to gain momentum within the circles of the politically influential. Bloomberg yesterday posted an article on a new book titled The Curse of Cash, written by Kenneth Rogoff former chief economist of the International Monetary Fund and current Harvard University economist. Though the Bloomberg piece, unfortunately, accepts at face value the weak argument that eliminating cash will make it harder for criminals to operate, it does focus on the real goal of people like Rogoff, to give more power to central bankers: Rogoff … contends that suppressing cash would make it easier for the Federal Reserve and other central banks … Continue reading

“Our country can survive the occasional infelicities and improprieties of Donald Trump. But it cannot survive losing the Supreme Court to liberals and allowing them to wreck our sacred republic. It would reshape the country for decades.” — Bill Bennett How seriously should we take this prediction. Not at all. How seriously should we take Bill Bennett? Even less. Let’s consider Bill Bennett. He was the Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy from March 13, 1989 — December 13, 1990. He failed. The office should never have been created. Before this, he was Secretary of Education from … Continue reading

For many people, especially older people, the beauty of nighttime is getting obscured by a condition called nyctalopia, more commonly referred to as night blindness. Not only can these people not appreciate the beauty of the night, they cannot easily do their regular day-to-day activities like reading, knitting, driving, or even walking at night. When you go for a regular eye test, your eyesight is checked in good light. In most cases (if not all), the optometrist does not test for night blindness. This is not an ideal practice, considering night blindness can lead to many other health complications. The … Continue reading

Phyllis Stewart Schlafly passed away on Monday after half a century of warning us about the dangers of feminism and I’m convinced she died of a broken heart. After discovering we are living in a world that venerates the likes of Lena Dunham, she decided life was no longer worth living and went gently into that good night. An old, amateur Wiki entry trivialized Phyllis’ work thusly: Schlafly believed that if women were given equal rights they would be drafted into the military, that unisex bathrooms would be mandated and that same sex marriages would be legalized, none of which … Continue reading

In 1953, the American scientist Dr. Ancel Keys published a paper linking high saturated fat intake with heart disease in adult men. Though initially met with skepticism, medical societies, and government bodies eventually embraced Keys’s findings, and the era of fat demonization began – much to the joy of processed food manufacturers. Although most experts now regard Keys’s research as cherry-picked and flawed, its conclusions still influence and direct the purchasing choices of the average consumer. Many people still believe that saturated fats – even when sourced from nutritious whole foods, such as eggs and coconut oil – contribute to weight gain and … Continue reading

Right out of the globalists’ population control playbook comes this year’s Zika virus. What the elite don’t want you to know is that the Zika virus has been around for 69 years. Until this year it was always known to be a relatively harmless virus with typical flu-like symptoms rarely if ever lethal. Yet in January 2016 all that changed overnight when the medical establishment and New World Order controllers unleashed Zika-mania hype as their latest fearmongering strategy designed to cause panic amongst the global population. It’s clearly another classic example of the Hegelian Dialectic at work where the ruling elite fictitiously identifies … Continue reading
