The Holocaust is a ‘warning and lesson to us all’, says Prince Charles

‘Prince Charles said the memory of the “Nazis’ diabolical enterprise” was relevant to today’s conflicts and should help people reflect on how to respond to recent horrors.

His poignant remarks, made at a national commemoration marking Holocaust Memorial Day, came as thousands of people gathered across country to remember the six million Jews killed in the Holocaust on the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp.

World leaders also joined around 300 Holocaust survivors at an event on a site at the former concentration camp.’
