Your Taxes Will Go Up

ObamaCare expansion (SF66) is in the Senate Labor, Health, and Social Services Committee this week, and I need you to take action TODAY to stop it from advancing.

Committee Chairman Charles Scott is hoping to have the committee work wrapped up on Wednesday, January 28, so he can send the bill to the Senate Floor by the end of the week!

But with enough grassroots pressure, we just may be able to end Governor Mead’s pursuit of ObamaCare expansion before it ever reaches the full Senate.

It’s critical you contact all of the Senators on the Senate Labor, Health, and Social Services Committee TODAY.

Demand they vote against SF66 and any other proposal to implement the dangerous ObamaCare expansion scheme in Wyoming.

As you know, ObamaCare tried to bribe the states into expanding their Medicaid entitlements to include young, able-bodied individuals who earn less than 138% of the poverty level.

The federal government would only cover the majority of the increased costs for “newly eligible” recipients until 2016, after which the states would begin to absorb a significant portion of the increase.

But Wyoming will be expected to spend millions in administrative expenses from the moment the state expands the program
.

And soon, the federal government will reduce the reimbursement rate significantly, leaving our state with the obligation to dole out an even greater portion of the tab.

But Governor Mead and other ObamaCare enthusiasts in the state want all that “free” federal money, so they’re trying to fool you into believing their plans are actually “alternatives” to ObamaCare expansion.

And they’re ignoring the fact that expanding will severely increase the costs paid by Wyoming taxpayers.

That’s why it’s so important you contact all of the Senators on the Senate Labor, Health, and Social Services Committee TODAY.

Wyoming already has a budget shortfall of 217.6 million dollars!

And there’s no guarantee it won’t drop further.

That means funding Wyoming’s existing government programs just got significantly harder.

Wyoming legislators should not be supporting an unaffordable law that is destroying America’s health care system and trampling on our rights.

Their reckless scheme will lead to higher taxes and lower quality medical care.

You will still be forced to jump through Obama’s hoops and health care will continue to be rationed – all of it will be doled out by Obama’s bureaucrats in Washington, D.C.

Chris, the federal government is not a well-meaning, charitable figure – everything comes with strings attached.

You see, ObamaCare expansion requires that states cede their authority over health care decisions to the federal government.

That’s why Governor Mead had to present his SHARE plan to HHS – to beg their permission for his so-called Wyoming “solution.”

This has to be stopped.
