Call Me Maybe, We’ll Do Lunch

Has anyone ever told you “Call me… we’ll do lunch”?  I’ve got bad news for you.  That’s not a genuine invitation.  It’s an implied request that the party of the first part will consider and expects an invitation from the party of the second part (you).

When you get a request from the blockchain it’s genuine and undeniable.  When you get a request from the sidechain, it just may be open to interpretation by a smart contract oracle.  In other words you may have thought someone was buying you lunch, but instead they ate your lunch and stuck you with the bill.
