Congressman Bruce Poliquin Breaks Pledge

SPRINGFIELD, Virginia– Yesterday, Congressman Bruce Poliquin (R-ME) violated his pledge to Campaign for Liberty and his constituents by voting against HR 596, which would repeal ObamaCare.

Representative Poliquin pledged that he would “support and cast every vote for legislation that will repeal or defund ObamaCare” in his 2014 Campaign for Liberty survey.

“This must be some kind of record for how little time it took Congressman Poliquin to violate his own pledge to his constituents,” said C4L President John Tate.

“How long will it take him to break his other campaign promises? Campaign for Liberty will be sure to let the citizens of Maine know how little Congressman Poliquin thinks of the promises he made to them.”

Campaign for Liberty is a 501(c)(4) that seeks to promote and defend the great American principles of individual liberty, constitutional government, sound money, free markets, and a noninterventionist foreign policy. www.campaignforliberty.org
