Cameroonians back army operations against Boko Haram
‘Thousands of people, including government ministers, have staged a demonstration in Cameroonian capital, Yaounde, to voice their support for the Central African country’s army in its fight against Nigeria-based Takfiri Boko Haram militants.
On Saturday, between 10,000 and 15,000 demonstrators marched through the streets of Yaounde, calling for the killing of Boko Haram’s purported leader, Abubakar Shekau.
They waved the flags of Cameroon, Chad and Nigeria – the three neighboring nations currently fighting alongside each other to defeat Boko Haram Takfiris.’
