Nearly 50,000 Peace Protesters In Israel Demand the End of Netanyahu’s Reign

‘This Saturday, tens of thousands of Israelis turned out at Rabin Square in Tel Aviv to demand a change and an end to the war-mongering reign of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Protesters gathered under the banner “Israel wants change” calling for the hawkish Prime Minister to be replaced in the upcoming March 17th national elections.

During the siege of Gaza last year, Counter Current News citizen journalists reported from Rabin Square, as well as at Haifa and Jerusalem peace protests, which reach similar numbers in some cases.’
