Britain should QUIT the EU for the good of business, say chiefs of leading UK manufacturer
‘Graeme Macdonald, the chief executive of the Staffordshire-based JCB, said there was too much “scaremongering” over the issue of lost trade if the UK left the 28-member bloc.
He said Britain was too strong an export market for the EU to enforce restrictions.
“I really don’t think it would make a blind bit of difference to trade with Europe,” said Mr McDonald when asked if the UK market would be affected by quitting the EU.
“There has been far too much scaremongering about things like jobs.’
