Demolition of Flintshire mobile home withdrawn after owner is treated by paramedics
‘Family and supporters said the “emotional stress” appeared to be too much for Beryl Larkin, 71, who has been locked in a planning dispute for 20 years.
Flintshire County Council insists she does not have planning permission for the caravan at Ffordd y Felin, Treuddyn.
Local authority officials arrived at her mobile home this morning to restore the site to its original appearance which her solicitor, Phillip Lloyd Jones, estimates could cost rate-payers £30,000.
But neither the council or their contractors could get past the front gate after it was barricaded by members of the Borras and Holt community protection group, friends, family and supporters.’
