‘Restaurants in Manchester have united in a scheme to help feed hundreds of homeless people in the city centre.
For the last three months, the Not Just Soup initiative has seen a different restaurant cook food and serve it up in Piccadilly Gardens to rough sleepers.
And after restaurant owners willing to help out kept coming forward, the project’s founder has just pledged to keep feeding those in need for at least another three months.’
