Children on a Cheltenham housing estate are banned from playing in the street
‘Children on a housing estate in a posh town have been banned from playing in the street – because they are a nuisance.
Families have been told that allowing their kids to play ball games and ride bikes and scooters could be in breach of their tenancy agreement.
A letter to tenants from housing provider Guinness Partnership said an anonymous complaint had been made stating cars had been damaged.
It added: “Children are also riding around on their pushbikes and scooters in the road and, at times, are not aware of the vehicles entering or leaving Quebec Drive.’
