‘Families set to lose their children’s Disability Living Allowance because they’re TOO ILL are celebrating a victory over “heartless” government policy.

Earlier this week, we told how young Dylan’s family were set to lose half of their income because he will soon have been in hospital for 84 days or more.

The brave seven-year-old suffers from a condition that forces him to be fed through a drip, while he also has cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

The Department for Work and Pensions suspend Disability Living Allowance for those in hospital under the age of 16 after that three-month period has elapsed because the Tories claim that by that point the child is in the care of the hospital and not their family.’
