‘In October 1993, then-President Bill Clinton raised a ruckus nationwide when it was reported that he was responsible for delaying air traffic at Los Angeles International Airport for hours so he could get a haircut from a Hollywood stylist to the stars.

While the report outraged millions of Americans who labeled the president as out of touch and arrogant, it was later refuted as being factually inaccurate, as documented by the Clinton-connected media watchdog Media Matters.

Now, having said that, Air Force One’s presence at LA International that day did, in fact, create complications; two of the airport’s four runways were closed to traffic in order to keep aircraft away from the president’s plane.’
