Doctors Revisit Shaken Baby Syndrome, Rename It ‘Abusive Head Trauma’
‘Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS), a topic I have written about numerous times, including with Harold E Buttram, MD, is being revisited by a medical profession having some doubts and, consequently, it’s been renamed “abusive head trauma.”
Also, the mainstream media, e.g., The New York Times, has written an article about medicine’s Johnny-come-lately questioning, which appeared online September 13, 2015, in Clyde Haberman’s report “Shaken Baby Syndrome: A Diagnosis That Divides the Medical World.”
As Haberman says, “It is defined by a constellation of symptoms known as the triad: brain swelling, bleeding on the surface of the brain and bleeding behind the eyes,” which also can be caused by toxic chemicals to the brain! But, where and how would a baby get chemicals? More easily and legally than anyone would guess: the baby’s pediatrician/MD administering vaccinations starting 24 hours after birth (the Hepatitis B vaccine) and at 2, 4 and 6-month ‘well’ baby visits!’
