Mother faces jail for son missing school when his father died
When Kris Jarvis was killed by a drink driver, his son Adam was left shattered. But now mum Tracey Fidler could be sent to prison because of his poor school attendance record, after the reason for his absences were deemed unacceptable. Adam had a 45 per cent attendance record at his primary school. A spokesman for Reading council told The Sunday Times that it was going to speak to the family to ‘urgently finding a resolution’.
