‘Because they are not as productive, they don’t deserve a living wage’ says Tory minister about workers under 25

Tory Cabinet minister Mathew Hancock says the under 25s do not deserve a living wage as they are not as productive as older workers.

The ‘living wage’ was introduced by George Osborne and would go some way to counteracting the cuts in workers tax credits that are going to be in force from April 2016.
