Got Warts?
Warts are benign skin growths that appear when a virus infects the top layer of the skin. They are caused when the human papillomavirus (HPV) infects the skin. Anyone can get warts and can occur anywhere on the body. The people most vulnerable to warts include the very young, the very old and those with weakened immune systems. Doctors often use medications to treat them, and occasionally coat them in dry ice. This can be extremely painful, and warts can grow back even after treatment. Before having such a procedure performed, try the following natural remedies:
Bananas
It’s easier for warts to form when you have low levels of potassium, which bananas have in abundance. Increasing your potassium intake by eating bananas will not only help get rid of your warts, it will also keep them from coming back. When you’re done eating the banana, get a little more potassium by rubbing the banana peel directly on your wart.
