Human rights group call ministerial code amendment ‘seriously concerning’

Human rights group Rights Watch UK have slammed a move by the British Government as ‘seriously concerning’ as it violates international law. The new version of the code has kept ministers duty yo ‘comply with the law’, but has omitted the passage that states they must comply with ‘international law and treaty obligations’.
