New House of Lords Revolt Coming as Government Pushes Online Surveillance Bill

A fresh conflict is looming from peers as the government publishes Bill to give the security services and police the authority to track and spy on everyone’s web browsing history.

They have also expressed concern that the government has rejected calls for eavesdropping warrants to be issued by judges and not ministers.
