The Headlines So Far: 10 October 2015
Stacy Summary: These are some of the headlines I’ve read so far this morning. The first one is most important with lots of juicy info and tidbits about one of the vastest criminal conspiracies to ever stalk the global economy.
Reuters: UK court hears possible recruit to Libor conspiracy ‘to get the odd Mars bar’ (SH: Amazing info emerging in Libor conspiracy trial; much of it confirming what Max has said about compliance officers and banking environment, etc).
Bloomberg: Brits’ Raid on Savings Raises Questions for BOE (SH: article puts a positive spin on 50 year low in savings rate, insisting it might not be due to collapsing incomes and rising costs but population becoming more prudent with pension savings. lol)
Naked Capitalism: The Financial Sector is Too Big (SH: similar to what Steve Keen & Michael Hudson have said on Keiser Report. Well said here. Worth read.)
Independent: Sophisticated gangs using drones to target church roofs for their lead (SH: could help UK savings rate, especially if said thieves also confess afterward. Get it?)
