US cop tases Texas councilman resisting arrest

‘A councilman in Texas has been immobilized by a taser in front of his house for resisting arrest during a controversial incident.

Jonathan Miller, 26, was tased by a stun gun in front of his home last Thursday night and later nabbed on charges of interfering with an investigation and resisting an arrest, reports said Monday.

One of the officers involved was also present during the arrest of Sandra Bland, who was found hanged in her cell on July 13, three days after being in custody following a minor traffic infraction in Houston, Texas.’
