Police forces consider company part-owned by Theresa May’s husband to handle 999 calls

‘Let us all remember that the woman responsible for cutting police budgets is Home Secretary Theresa May – whose husband is a major shareholder in G4S.

Apparently the Parliamentary watchdogs don’t think that’s a serious conflict of interest but the rest of us should not be so blinkered.

Unison’s Dave Ratchford said: “Putting policing in the hands of multinationals like G4S is a step towards a very worrying future.””Justice is not and never, ever should be for sale,” he added.’
