Tory Party rocked by sex, drugs and blackmail claims

The aide – disgraced ‘Tatler Tory’ Mark Clarke – had been determined to secure a top political position by keeping ‘dirt’ on everybody to use as leverage in the future, the party campaigner alleged.

The claims by the whistleblower, an Oxbridge graduate, come after Mr Clarke was accused of bullying Tory activist Elliott Johnson, who killed himself in September.

He is also alleged to have tried to blackmail Cabinet minister Rob Halfon over an affair with a Tory campaigner.
