‘David Cameron will be happier attacking the benefits of EU migrants who don’t have jobs – the UK never paid them anyway.

He’ll be campaigning for the abandonment of the system by which immigrant jobseekers use the E303 form to receive the same amount of benefits as they would be paid in their own country, while they seek work in the UK.

This Blog understands that the current arrangement means the UK government would then claw the money back from the jobseekers’ country of origin.

This of course means that anyone wishing to move from their own country to the UK to seek a job would have their own government to blame if the loss of benefits proposed by Cameron meant they could not go.’
