‘That’s right. History is being rewritten left and right to avoid hurting anyone’s feelings in this country.

Now a school in Philadelphia recently announced that it was removing Huckleberry Finn, the Mark Twain novel written in 1885 that ranks as one of the all-time great American novels ever, from its classroom curriculum…

Because the book dares, in its historical accuracy, to include use of the “N” word.

Of course, the book is poignantly ahead of its time in its critique of slavery, and depicts a boy who befriends a slave and goes through many difficulties to help him reach freedom…

But the truth stopped mattering a long time ago in politically correct America.’
