Love the 2nd Amendment?
Guns are a big part of American culture, and the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights guarantees the freedom to own firearms. Guns are also a big part of Hollywood and the movie industry.
The entertainment industry has produced some great pro-Second Amendment films despite the fact that Hollywood is overwhelmingly liberal. Here are the 10 movies that every freedom loving and gun owning American has to watch.
Red Dawn: This might honestly be the most pro-gun film ever made. What is more American than a bunch of high school kids raiding one of their father’s gun stores to get weapons to kill the communist invaders? Absolutely nothing is more American than that.
Gran Torino: Clint Eastwood plays a heavily armed and extremely pissed off Korean War veteran who would really like people to stay off his lawn. This movie is great for gun lovers because it features old World War II era weapons in a modern setting such as the M1 Garand and the Colt 1911.
The Hateful Eight: If you’re a gun lover and you love westerns then this newly released movie is for you. Nothing is better than a couple old school single action six-shot revolvers and lever action rifles.
The Alamo: The stand at the Alamo is one of the most famous moments in American history, and John Wayne delivers an excellent performance as Davy Crockett. The American heroes use their weapons in a last stand effort against the Mexican army.
