‘I robbed food for my kid’s school lunches’ Cork mum confesses

‘A mum who wrote a moving letter apologising for stealing food for her kid’s lunches has been overwhelmed with offers of help and work.

The single mother from Cork said that she is back in full-time education trying to get a better life for her family.

But she told listeners of the Neil Prendeville Show on Red FM that she hit rock bottom this week, and stole from a local shop as she’d no money to pay for sandwiches.’
